The only concern I had as I
climbed Mount Adam's non-technical route was the weather. As it turned
out, we had nothing but sun, great views, and a relaxing time...
Looking south from Mount Rainier,
Mount Adams is the most prominant feature on the skyline.
Mt Adams offers a near "glacier-less"
approach on the south spur.
"The Lunchcounter", at 9,000',
is a popular place to camp and wait for the final summit push. Mount Saint
Helens is visible through the haze behind our camp. The following morning
we hiked to the summit at 12,276'.
